Renaissance Costumes
This entire page is dedicated to some of the photos from my own Renaissance wedding. All of the attire worn by the Ladies in Waiting and the Knights were custom for each person. I embroidered a unique Coat-of-Arms on to the tunic and hat for each Knight. For the Ladies in Waiting, each dress was unique in design and color, then as an added touch, I embroidered a different design down the front of each over-skirt. It took a painful 6 months to create the costumes for 3 Ladies, 7 knights, 2 pages(ladies) and of course, my dress and Rob's cape, slops and tunic. Thanks to Laura - Boddess Goddess, Jennifer Maschinot and Michelle Mahowald for all of your help and support!!! The parent's outfits for both sides, and our niece and nephews, were made by my mother, Diantha Neinfeldt and Nellie Roberts. Thanks for all of the hard work!!! Hugs and Kisses.

| This Renaissance outfit is modeled after designs from the mid 1500's. The white linen shirt is embroidered on the cuffs and neckline with Blackwork. The cape, slops and jerkin are made with black velvet and are all embroidered with gold metallic thread. Freshwater pearls and Swarovski pearls are hand-sewn amidst the embroidered design. |

This noble Ladies dress is made from crushed red velvet with a tapestry design on the front panel. The chemise is made of sheer gold and the long sleeves are detachable. The designs on the main skirt, bordering the front panel, are embroidered with gold metallic thread. Freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals decorate the front panel. |

| The Knight's are wearing simple cotton leggings, a gold peasant shirt and crushed black velvet tunic. The tunics are all embroidered with individual crests or coats-of-arms. The hats also have their matching embroidered crests. |

While I did not make these outfits, they are very period and are wonderful examples. Lord Gareth and Lady Chris have many versions. |
